ROKIT 4 G3 Powered Studio Monitor
KRK's ROKIT 4 G3 (Generation 3) powered studio monitor offers professional performance and accuracy for recording, mixing, mastering and playback. The system consists of a 1" soft dome tweeter and 4" glass-Aramid composite woofer. It delivers high frequencies up to 35 kHz with vocal clarity and extended bass response to 51 Hz. The proprietary bi-amped, class A/B amplifier grants SPL up to 100dB. The ROKIT waveguide is designed to ensure detailed imaging and the front-firing bass port reduces boundary coupling to allow flexible positioning in the room. Multiple input connections ensure the ROKIT 4 G3 will easily integrate into any system configuration. The ROKIT 4 G3 is the solution for those who need big sound in a compact form.
Rokit 4 G3 monitors are available with Black, White and Silver finishes.
They sound great for the size and price, they're the "real deal" (bi-amped, independent) - and did I mention they look great, especially in gloss white?, There's little to fault about the Rokit 4 G3s..In fact, we loved 'em!
When I loaded a familiar track and dialed up the volume on the ROKIT 4s, I have to confess: I was stunned. The ROKIT 4 delivers stunning low-end, especially for its size. Playing back a wide range of material across a variety of genres, the sound was as crisp, clean, and pure as I would have expected.
The ROKIT 4 G3's have excellent transient response and smooth high frequency reproduction. For those who need solid-sounding speakers that perform well above their weight division, give these a listen. For musicians and producers on the go, or who need something they can take on the tour bus or use in their hotel rooms, they're ideal. They also make excellent desktop speakers for casual listening and for desktop production suites.
Although it isn’t fair to compare a pair of 4-inch monitors to the monsters I usually mix with, these blew me away. If I were working in a smaller room or on a tight budget, they’d be my first choice, providing more than enough (and then some) for most projects.
I auditioned the ROKIT 4’s in a full-space, near-field configuration, next to my regular monitors (the 6000s). They shared the same pleasing forward quality of all the KRK models—mid and high-frequency balance had the same overall character as the 10-3.Clear, transparent sound; solid construction & extended low end
